Apex: the uppermost point: vertex. the highest or culminating point.
Apex can mean the highest point in a literal sense, like climbing to the apex of the Eiffel Tower for a fabulous view of Paris. It also can be used to mean the highest point in a figurative sense. An actor who wins an Oscar can say she's reached the apex of her career.
At Apex Bodywork, it’s my job to help bring you to your apex. To assist you in feeling more fluid and free in your own body. Chronic neuromuscular pain weighs us down and keeps us from giving our best to our jobs, friends, family, and to ourselves. I’m here to help you be the best version of yourself.
Health is not simply the absence of sickness.
Our Services
-
Signature Apex Session
This therapeutic session is designed to remove tension and address chronic neuromuscular pain. The sessions I conduct will combine different techniques: Myodetox, Functional Range Release, Trigger point, Myofascial Release, Cupping, IASTM, Percussion therapy etc. Some or all may be used in a treatment session. Working to release fascia can feel like a burning sensation and is rather uncomfortable. Little to no emollient is used for fascia work. All modalities are optional. Each session is custom-tailored for your individual needs.
Tipping is not expected or required.

Community Clinic
Therapeutic bodywork made accessible to those who otherwise could not afford it. It would be an honor to support those with disabilities, people experiencing emotional challenges, and anyone suffering from chronic pain but has been unable to get treatment due to lack of funds. My volunteer hours are extremely limited but always open to trying my best to assist someone in a dire situation.
What People Are Saying
“Ed is top-of-the-line in the massage world. His ability to find areas of tightness, and his intuition to discover things that I didn't even know were an issue, are very impressive. His pressure is firm, but not to the point where I'm bruised the next day. He focuses on breaking up adhesions and loosening tight muscles.
I myself am a massage therapist so I'm very picky with who I choose to work on me. I trust Ed 100% and highly recommend him.”
— Taiine S.
“Ed was a pleasure.. he was honest in everything he did. He explained everything thoroughly and was methodical in his process. He was a professional from beginning to end.
I work as a Firefighter and know how important it is to have work done for preventative measures and areas that are hurt/sore. Due to my line of work I've tried everything that's out there. From different massage therapists to the medical through my insurance but nothing has loosened me up as much as working with Ed. I was able to walk in with knots and soreness across my back and walked out feeling way better than I did walking in. I had a rough couple of shifts where I had soreness across my back and was stiff for several days, with a 90 min session he was able to work out a lot of the issues I was having. I believe in taking preventative measures to help with any future aches and pains, it's a small price to pay especially when you're having back pain and would pay any amount of money for it to go away.
In my last session with Ed he told me about future classes and workshops he was taking that make me believe that he wants to get even better at what he does. It makes me know he's passionate about his profession and not working to get one person in and out, he's building a relationship and really getting a feel for each individual. I've already recommended Edward to my coworkers and those individuals looking for relief from pain.
This isn't your Massage Envy Spa where you're going in for a spa-type atmosphere etc., this is for those who need pain relief and work done on their bodies. Nobody walks in with years of pain and is magically healed with one session, which is why I've given it time and it has been worth every penny. I'd put Edward up there with anyone out there, he's honest and a hard worker, there's not much else you can ask for.

“I had consistent knee pain for almost 2 years, after my daughter was born. I was wearing a knee brace practically everyday, just to find some sort of relief... But since Ed worked on my leg a few months ago, my knee pain has significantly decreased.
He asked questions throughout the massage about my pain and always made sure I was comfortable. He really cares about his work and his patients.
If you suffer from chronic pain, this is your guy! He's not only skilled and knowledgeable, but he also has a great personality (a must for me if I'm going to spend an hour with someone getting massaged, lol)!”
